Titans Robotics

Team Titans Robotics had the astounding opportunity to visit the York Catholic District School Board headquarters. During this visit, we showcased our robots to many principals across the board, sharing our knowledge and promoting our STREAM values with them.

The event was a remarkable opportunity to demonstrate our team's capabilities and achievements. We were thrilled to be joined by students from grades 7 to 9 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic High School, St. Justin Martyr Catholic Elementary School, and a few other schools. The students were particularly engaged and curious about robotics and technology during our time. St. Katharine Drexel, a relatively new school, brought excitement and eagerness to learn. Additionally, many principals attended this event. Moreover, we took this opportunity to share insights on how STREAM education can open doors to innovation and problem-solving skills.

Throughout the event, we planned and initiated interactive demonstrations of our robot, explaining its design and functionality. The hands-on experience gave the students and principals a deeper understanding of how robotics can be integrated into education and beyond. Our team members discussed the importance of STREAM fields, hoping to inspire a new generation of thinkers, creators, and innovators.

It was an inspiring day filled with learning, collaboration, and excitement. We are ever so grateful to the YCDSB for hosting us and all the schools and students who participated. Together, we continue to build a future where technology and education go hand in hand, shaping the minds of tomorrow.
